When the projector is in question, one of the most obvious buys when you are purchasing the projector would be the bulb. There is a specific life span of the projector bulb you would buy. There are some projectors which can take any bulb but there are others which need bulb specific to their make and model. The life of the bulb is usually defined in number of hours it would last. And hence, the same would be the basics of the price range decision of the projector bulb.

For the zoombox projectors you would require the specific zoombox bulb. These could be the once which would have 1000 hours life or could have 2000 hours life. Depending upon the usage you have for the projector you could choose the zoombox bulb. Besides the number of hours of your zoombox bulb, you could consider the following to ensue that it lives that long or could enjoy an even prolonged like span –

• You should never touch the bulb with the finger tip as the remains of the finger particles would damage the bulb and the same would failure before it is supposed to.

  

• The air filter on you projector could be very helpful for the zoombox bulb. As it would keep the bulb protected from heat and at the same time would help the projector to maintain a decent temperature and not get over heated. The air filter that you use should be able to let air pass freely through it.

• Rather than switching of the power of the projector, you should use the remote to turn it off. As when the image is turned off. The projector itself would get into a cool down process. The fan would start which would get the heat down; this is another way to ensure that the projector bulb is not hurt.

  

Whenever you are purchasing the zoombox projector, it is indispensable that you must have at least one zoombox bulb purchased with it. Though, there would not be a problem when you would need to replace one. But, it is better to have a supply rather than rushing off to the market in the middle of watching a movie on the projector. When you have a supply you can readily change it and can get another zoombox bulb when you are off to the market at your own convenience. It is always better to be prepared despite following the above precautions.
